The real challenges that Indonesia faces are is coming from countries like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore which exemplify success in utilizing “brainpower” but Indonesia has brain power and natural resources which these countries do not have.

As the population of Indonesia is more than 240 million people with huge natural resources, and geo-strategic location, the government started to adopt a new strategy for the coming decade based on being one of the major key players in the world politically and economically.
