After the assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey Putin’s words only confirm previous statements on Islam and terror. In May, at the event dedicated to the discussion of Islam and Russia Putin stressed that Russia will always remain a reliable ally of the Islamic world. “I would like to confirm that the Islamic world can always rely on Russia as its ally ready to cooperate in solving urgent issues. We support Muslim’s position in strengthening such values as justice and law supremacy in international relations”.
